After The Permit Class
What is the After The Permit class?
Take your handgun training to the next level, after you receive your Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit, with the Dragon Defense After The Permit class.
This intermediate-level, handgun training class provides you with more detailed and in-depth self-defense training, including practical and situational training skills and drills, in both the classroom and at the range.
Course content includes, but is not limited to:
Intermediate Level Training Drills • Handgun Carry Options and Holsters, including Clothing and Concealment • Immediate Trauma Response Training • 911 and How to Respond • Next Level Firearms and Ammunition Instruction • Enhanced Storage Options • Additional Self Defense Options • Recap on the Latest Tennessee Laws
Are there any prerequisites for this class?
Yes, you must:
• have a valid Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit
• be 18 years of age or older
• have your own handgun and holster
• have spent time at the range practicing or training
When and where are the classes being offered?
The class will be offered at least quarterly in one or more of our four classroom locations in Tennessee - Chattanooga, Kodak, Nashville, and Tri-Cities.
What is the cost of the class?
The cost of this class is $150 to $175 per student (based upon location).
The class includes:
- approximately five to six hours of classroom instruction*
- two hours at the range
- a CAT Tourniquet, Tactical Pen and a Tactical Flashlight
- Limited Edition After The Permit patch
- All other instructional materials
- Bottled water, breakfast pastries, snacks, and lunch
